Jerseys!

The ADA is working on national Team Red jerseys for the 2012 Tour de Cure!

What do the Team Red Jerseys Look Like?

I'll post designs as soon as I get them.

How Do I Qualify for a Team Red Jersey?

You must be registered and have raised the minimum fundraising amount of $200 online by March 31st, 2012 in order to be included in the jersey order.  The jerseys have an 8-week turnaround time, so March 31st will be the latest we can order jerseys.

So keep an eye out for updates on this so you can have a Team Red jersey for our 2012 season - we'll feel more like a team with matching jerseys!

How Do I Order a Team Red Jersey?

I will contact everyone in January to take orders from those who are eligible early and would like to have their jerseys early.  I'll contact the remainder of eligible folks toward the end of March to place the final jersey orders before the Tour.

You may have to pay for a Team Red jersey and I'll get pricing on that later.  However, we are working on getting Team Red sponsors to subsidize or fully cover the cost of jerseys for Team Red members!

What About Red Rider Jerseys?

The same date and fundraising prerequisites apply to you in order to be eligible for a Red Rider jersey.  In addition, you must have diabetes to be a Red Rider.  When you register for the Tour de Cure, you'll need to indicate that you have diabetes, along with your jersey size and your desire to be recognized as a Red Rider.

A Red Rider jersey is different from a Team Red jersey.  Team Red jerseys are for anyone who has joined Team Red.  You can join Team Red and be a Red Rider at the same time - in which case, you can get both jerseys if you choose.

See here for an explanation on the difference between Red Riders and Team Red.
